Down in Old Aperture, an empty dry dock with life preservers lying on the floor, each one printed with the name BOREALIS. It's the Aperture Science ship that Half-Life 2: Episode Two builds its whole ending around, and here is where it left from. One of the clearest ties between Valve's two universes, hidden in a level most players sprint through.
How to find it
Chapter 6, The Fall. In Test Shaft 09, once you reach the 1970s section, look for a door in one of the offices. It leads to the empty dock, and the life preservers on the dock floor have BOREALIS printed on them.
