Baskets

A basket is the page for one game, movie, show, song, album or place. It holds the eggs hidden inside it, the eggs elsewhere that point back to it, and the hunters who know it best.

Make one in seconds. Search first. Most games and movies are already in the databases we pull from, so the name, year and cover fill in on their own. Can't find it? Maybe it's a mod, a demo, something unreleased or a real-world spot. Add it by hand and a moderator will give it a once-over.

One thing, one basket. A franchise can have its own basket and one for each game in it, but a game never gets two. Spot a twin? Tell us through Feedback and we'll merge them.

Set the backdrop. The big blurred image behind the page is official art or a screenshot from a verified egg. Signed in, open the basket's About tab, tap "Set the backdrop" (it reads "Change the backdrop" once there is one), pick the shot you like best and tap Use this backdrop. Everyone sees what you picked.

Run one. Basket moderators come from the basket's own community. Know one inside out? Once you have 10 eggs in it and 30 days on the site, an Apply to moderate box appears on the basket's About tab. The rules say how moderation works.
