Every so often an enemy John shoots lets out the Wilhelm scream. The stock yell was first recorded for the 1951 western Distant Drums and sound designers have been slipping it into movies (Star Wars included) and games ever since as an in-joke.
How to find it
There is no fixed spot. Get into gunfights, gang hideouts are good for the body count, and listen as enemies fall; it plays at random.
