At night a ghostly rider with no head can be seen galloping across the countryside, a nod to Washington Irving's "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow". He never speaks or fights you, but if you follow him he leads you to Hamvir's Rest, an old burial site, where he vanishes.
How to find it
Travel at night, roughly 10 pm to 5:30 am; he is most often met on the roads around Whiterun. Follow him, on horseback if possible, to Hamvir's Rest.
