Golden peyote was only the start: code readers (the Codewalkers) and more than 30 players on a Discord server worked out that seven golden plants, eaten on the right days and in the right weather, summon a monster called the Beast. As Bigfoot you track it by its roars through invisible checkpoints, and killing it unlocks the Beast in Director Mode. Kotaku credits Louis C. LeBlond as the first to keep up with it and kill it, in June 2016.
