Open a new sheet, select X97:L97, press Tab, hold Ctrl and Shift and click the Chart Wizard, and Excel 97 launches a 3D flight simulator over a purple landscape. Fly to the monolith and the credits of the whole Excel team scroll past. Microsoft stopped adding hidden eggs like it in the early 2000s.
How to find it
Excel 97 only. New workbook, F5, type X97:L97, Enter, then Tab. Hold Ctrl+Shift and click the Chart Wizard toolbar button. Mouse to fly.
