FromSoftware has put a moonlight sword in its games since King's Field, then Armored Core's MOONLIGHT laser blade, Demon's Souls, the Dark Souls trilogy and Bloodborne's Holy Moonlight Sword. Elden Ring's version is the Dark Moon Greatsword, and its weapon skill is even called Moonlight Greatsword. The skill coats the blade in frost magic and fires a beam of light on charged attacks.
How to find it
Finish Ranni's questline: get the Dark Moon Ring, beat Astel at the end of the Grand Cloister, then go down into the cave below the Cathedral of Manus Celes on the Moonlight Altar and give Ranni the ring.
