Five scrawled messages hidden in the alleys of Saint Denis add up to a trail that leads Arthur to a pale man feeding on a victim in the dark. He claims to walk with the undead and attacks if you keep talking. Killing him gets you the rare Ornate Dagger.
How to find it
Find and inspect all five pieces of "Mysterious Writing" around Saint Denis, in any order (near the trapper's market, behind the general store and butcher, and in the alleys behind the gunsmith, among others). An X then appears on the map: go to the dark alley north-west of the general store around midnight.
