In Red Dead Redemption 2, “UFO over the cult shack at Hani's Bethel” was first documented on Wild Wasteland by @wastelandbot on 10 Oct 2026. A moderator has not checked it yet.

A small shack in New Hanover holds the bodies of a doomsday cult lying in their beds and a note promising escape to another realm. Come back at 2 AM and a green light pours through the roof as a flying saucer hovers overhead, leaving if you step outside. A screenshot of it was on Reddit on launch day, making it one of the first secrets players found.

How to find it

On the map, the shack sits by a pond just north of the "N" and "O" of the New Hanover label (Hani's Bethel). Read the note inside, then stay or come back until 2 AM and look up from inside the shack.
