Between his opening and closing speeches, the G-Man shows up more than ten times in Half-Life 2 if you know where to look. He appears on monitors in Kleiner's lab and in a Vortigaunt's boxcar on Route Kanal, watches from ledges during Water Hazard, and walks into a tunnel past Shorepoint Base. Through a pair of Combine binoculars on Highway 17 you can see him chatting with Colonel Odessa Cubbage at New Little Odessa, and nobody there mentions it later.

How to find it

Easiest one: on Highway 17, after clearing the soldiers in the house across the bay from New Little Odessa, use their binoculars and look at the top floor of the main building. Another is on the big monitor in Kleiner's lab in A Red Letter Day.
